Good afternoon,

FNS has issued a notice for a proposed rulemaking about the limits on the amount of time an able-bodied adult without dependents (ABAWD) can receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Currently, The Act exempts individuals from the time limit for several reasons, including age, unfitness for work, or having a dependent child. If you are interested in reviewing the announcement of proposed rulemaking or submitting comments on behalf of your organization you can review that here: https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=FNS-2018-0004-0001.

Best,

Erin
