Hi all,

 

As discussed during the monthly call today, there may be some decrease in SNAP benefits beginning October 1 because the Thrifty Food Plan was reduced nationwide. This is because the cost of food was slightly reduced over the past couple years. So the COLA for the SNAP program is adjusted downward in all states. Unlike some other benefit programs, changes in SNAP benefits occur October 1 of each year.
