Good Morning SNAP Grantees,

 

NCOA would like to thank you for the great work accomplished over the grant period. We know when each of you started, we did not expect the COVID-19 pandemic to last this long. However, over 40,000 older adults have access to valuable food benefits through your resilience and dedication. There are a few administrative items to be completed this month. The official grant end date was April 30, 2022. Grantees are expected to submit their April monthly report by COB Monday, May 16, 2022. In addition, the final financial report is due May 31, 2022. A new element that has been recently added to the final financial report since my last email update, there will be a section to share any effective marketing material or outreach tools that you would like to showcase with the closeout of your grant.

 

Several grantees have inquired about a new SNAP funding opportunity, and at this time, we do not have an update. We are hopeful that we will be able to provide more information in the coming weeks and appreciate your patience during this time. While not a requirement, you are invited to join us in June for NCOA's annual Age+Action Conference. There will be a wealth of knowledge from professionals in the fields. If you have any questions regarding the close-out of the grant, don't hesitate to reach out.
