Good Morning,
The application for Boost Your Budget uses the same grant application and reporting system as the SNAP grant. Since it is a different grant opportunity you must create a new account and organization profile. Your login credentials can be
the same for this grant opportunity and your current login credentials for the SNAP grant. If you have any questions about how to use the system, please reach out to me.
Have a great week,

Subject: SNAP Listserv: Small grants open for Boost Your Budget® Week campaign; deadline 2/28
Caution. This email is EXTERNAL.
Boost Your Budget® Week is an annual campaign from NCOA to educate low-income Medicare beneficiaries about benefits they may be missing, and to direct them to further screening and assistance through BenefitsCheckUp® and our network of
Benefits Enrollment Centers, SNAP, and MIPPA grantees.
Launched for the first time last year, Boost Your Budget Week is held the second full week of April (April 12-16, 2021) to coincide with tax time and Financial Literacy Month. On our website beginning in early March, we will have updated
campaign materials (posters, social media graphics, newsletter drops-ins, PSAs) in English and Spanish that you can download and use should you decide to implement the campaign in your community. (See
https://www.ncoa.org/centerforbenefits/boost-your-budget/boost-your-budget-week-partner-toolkit-2/ for examples from last year.)
As part of this campaign, we will award several small grants to our partners to implement the campaign in their community. These grants may be used, for example, to pay for advertising, translate materials, or print campaign materials for
distribution with your other activities (such as flyers in food bags). Grantees must obey HHS parameters for allowable/non-allowable expenditures (see link to regulations in the application).
Organizations may apply for awards between $500-$3,000.
If you’d like to be considered, please use this link to complete an application before
Sunday, February 28th:
https://webportalapp.com/sp/21_ncoa_byb.
We look forward to promoting Boost Your Budget Week with you!
