Dear SNAP friends,

 

As many of you may know, the National Council on Aging’s Age+Action Conference, originally scheduled to be held in Dallas, TX June 8-10, has pivoted to a virtual event.

 

With this change, the Center for Benefits Access for is able to convert this event from what was originally a regional conference to one the entire network can enjoy, and support participation from all of our grantees.

 

For those who have not already registered, we would like to invite each SNAP grantee to designate 2 individuals to receive free registration for this event. Additional attendees are welcome to register for a flat rate of $250.

 

Participants at Age+Action will enjoy three days of live and on-demand programs that cover a range of topics including messaging to diverse populations, using data to target your outreach, continuing your work in a post-COVID-19 environment, an introduction to integrated care for dual eligibles, and more. All registrants will be able to access the online content, including a virtual exhibit hall, for the month of June and view the recorded live sessions they may have missed. A revised agenda will be posted shortly.

 

How to register:

  1. Visit www.ageaction.org and click on the orange button to register now.
  2. Select “New Registration”
  3. On the following screen, select Center for Benefits Access from the list of category associations and proceed to next screen
  4. Enter your email address; ignore the field code that says ID Code on this page and proceed to next screen
  5. Select SNAP Grantee—the fourth item—and when prompted for a passcode enter snap2020.
  6. Complete the form with contact details.
