Hi friends—
Got this question from someone in Wisconsin and wondered if any of you had suggestions/strategies to handle this scenario.
Question: Other than on-line computer orders, what is the best way for a SNAP member to order groceries for either curbside pick up or delivery?
Situation: I have two callers who do not have computer access or natural supports to assist with ordering. They would both like to simply "call in" an order, but are not able to
use the SNAP benefit card over the phone. I have reached out to a couple of our local stores to problem solve. They regrettably acknowledge the barrier, but feel that taking a card over the phone is one, too risky and two, not within the regulation described
to them. Any ideas?
