Subject: Re-Determination of Part D Low-Income Subsidy Eligibility for 2019

Please see the attached memorandum entitled "Re-Determination of Part D Low-Income Subsidy Eligibility for 2019" from Jerry Mulcahy, Director, Medicare Enrollment and Appeals Group. The memorandum provides information regarding CMS' process for re-determining eligibility for the low-income subsidy (LIS) for 2018 and the Part D sponsors' responsibility for conducting outreach to members who no longer automatically qualify for LIS in 2019.
