Please see the note below from Humana regarding opioids and the Part D LI NET program they administer.
LI NET will be included in the enterprise wide rollout of the opioid limitation (30 days) and MED (Morphine Equivalent Dosing) edits. The go-live date for these are Jan 1, I apologize for the late notice. As
you probably know, this is an national effort to limit the opioid epidemic, dispensing abuses and is per CMS policy. The 30 day limit should affect very few LI NET beneficiaries (a fraction of 1%) as most states already limit opioid day supply to 30 or less.
