Just wanted to draw your attention to a new resource we’ve published today.

NCOA engaged the Medicare Rights Center to research and identify what states that chose to expand Medicaid to the adult population with incomes up to 138% of poverty are doing when those individuals become eligible for Medicare—i.e., are they getting screening for full (aged/disabled) Medicaid/Medicare Savings Programs, or are they falling off the “cliff”? As you can imagine, the answer varies by state.

We posted a blog about it here: https://www.ncoa.org/blog/medicaid-to-medicare-cliff/ but you can delve deeper and read the full report from Medicare Rights Center at: https://www.ncoa.org/resources/toward-seamless-coverage/.

And as a reminder, Julie Carter from the Medicare Rights Center will be talking about this more—and answering your questions—on a webinar tomorrow at 2 p.m. ET, which will be recorded.
