Hello,

Regarding the question below, a letter with a sample brochure was mailed to this office on July 28th about the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey.  The letter and brochure were from NORC at the University of Chicago.  It gave the following information:  Call 1-800-387-0258, email xxxxxx@norc.org.  Perhaps you could request some brochures, etc. from this contact.

Regards,

As many of you in SHIPs may know, Medicare is currently working with the University of Chicago for its regular Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey. Survey participants are selected randomly and mailed a brochure (http://mcbs.norc.org/sites/default/files/2010_011117_MCBS%20Comm%20Brochure_Eng_508C.pdf) and then called/followed up with in person.

One SHIP representative has asked whether anyone has/knows of educational materials—flyers, posters—that they could post in their office to alert clients that this is an official survey and not a scam. Has anyone created or seen such a thing? If so, please share!
