Hello Part D’ers,

I need your help. We and some other national advocates are meeting with CMS in early September to talk specifically about Part D and dual eligibles (and more generally beneficiaries with LIS). 

It’s a good chance to get issues in front of CMS. 

 

To make the meeting count and so we can focus on what is most important for these populations, we’d really like your input.

 

What issues are you seeing that specifically or disproportionately affect duals or those with the Low Income Subsidy?

 

For example, are you seeing issues in:

• Best Available Evidence
• LI-NET
• Formulary adequacy  (also, with an increasing number of duals in Medicare Advantage, does anything pop out on formularies in the MA context?)
• Auto-enrollment, data lags/errors
• “Chooser” inertia --staying in plans with premiums
• Any particularly unclear or problematic notices re duals or LIS?
• Any changes in the plan finder that would be helpful for duals or people with LIS?
• Anything else?

 

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Please try to share them by September 4.
