Our contract with the area agency on aging gives us $50 for an submitted application.   It is difficult on us because we will do outreach, find people, sometimes compare Part D plans and then folks don't want to apply.  I had a guy last week who would not apply last week because they wanted to see his car title.

We have never had a referral from our State SHIIP.

Subject: MIPPA Listserv: pay for performance

Good Afternoon,

A state MIPPA grantee has the following inquiry from other programs:

I've decided to move to a "pay for performance" model for MIPPA sub-grantees in September.  I'm looking for ideas on a reimbursement amount per application.  The agencies tell me they have to screen quite a few people to find someone who qualifies plus I know they need to do education/outreach to find possible applicants.  Any ideas from the BEC grantees or other states?

Thanks,

Leslie
