I thought Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) status would be available nationwide as part of the Medicare Saving Program (MSP) via Medicaid in every state.

You might be interested in knowing that in June 2014 Indiana increased its income limit for QMB eligibility to 150 percent of Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Indiana's Specified Low-income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) and Qualified Individual (QI) eligibility income limits also increased to 165 and 185 percent of FPL respectively. These limits are higher than used by many states. Our Medicaid eligibility income limit was increased to 100 percent of FPL in June 2014 when Indiana eliminated the Spend-down provision.

I've never seen a QMB card. Can anyone tell me about QMB cards? Or, if I have misinterpreted this note, please set me straight. I am in Florida, and maybe we don't have QMB cards.
