I am thrilled to announce that Ryan Ramsey has joined the National Council on Aging (NCOA) as our new Associate Director of Health Coverage & Benefits.
Ryan has over 10 years of dedicated service to the State of Tennessee, collaborating with state and federal agencies on service delivery, evaluation, program execution, and policy recommendation.
Ryan spent most of this time serving as the TN State Health Insurance Assistance Program (TN SHIP) and MIPPA Director, where he spearheaded initiatives to provide comprehensive Medicare assistance and financial support services to aging Tennesseans. Leveraging
his extensive experience at the local level, where he provided hands-on, one-on-one assistance to Medicare beneficiaries, and trained staff and volunteers to do the same, he has also served at the state level with a focus on Program Development and Quality
Assurance. This varied experience has allowed him to learn directly from beneficiaries, troubleshoot effectively, and connect individuals with all available resources.
Ryan says he is driven by a passion for servant leadership and a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of others. Ryan is eager to contribute to NCOA’s mission of delivering the education, resources, tools, and best practices our partners need to ensure
that every person can age with health and financial security.
