Please see below for information on an upcoming Federal Forum on Serving Older Adults, which will be held on June 12th. We hope you will consider participating!
The Administration for Community Living is pleased to invite you to the second
Federal Forum on Serving Older Adults. This forum is intended to bring together staff from community-based organizations to learn from federal agencies about a broad range of topics that matter to low-income older adults and those they serve.
The second session, to be held June 12, 2024 from 2-3:30 pm ET, will focus on fraud and fraud prevention. Following the presentation on fraud and fraud prevention, we will host small group discussions for you to discuss and share information about
how fraud and fraud prevention applies to your day-to-day work.
The forum is facilitated jointly by federal benefit experts from agencies such as the Social Security Administration (SSA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
(CFPB) and more. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions of federal agencies about federal programs and benefits which will be answered via email after the session. ACL will also evaluate the effectiveness of these sessions to make improvements
for future sessions.
