Hello, everyone,
I am reaching out to request your help with the fourth wave of the Community Living Administration /
National Council on Aging Medicaid Unwinding Survey. We appreciate the time that so many of you have taken to fill out the survey in the previous cycles in July, September, and December. Due to the holiday season, we had an
understandably, relatively lower response rate during the third December survey that was out during the last two weeks of the month.
Can you spare fifteen minutes and help us with these questions? Your answers will help the Community Living Administration (ACL) and the National Council on
Aging tailor technical assistance to fit the needs of counselors.
Many of the experiences of the open enrollment period may still be fresh on your minds, but perhaps you haven’t had a chance to share with the ACL your thoughts around how beneficiaries you spoke to had
been affected by the Medicaid unwinding. In light of the open enrollment period, the February survey asks new questions about such things as beneficiaries missing opportunities to enroll in Medicare Savings Programs and paying out of pocket when they shouldn’t
have to – all due to the Medicaid unwinding that continues into the first few months of 2024.
Even if you’ve completed the survey before, your participation in this survey gives us longitudinal data we can analyze to compare responses from July 2023 through March 2024.
The
ACL/NCOA Medicaid Unwinding Survey- Wave 4
will be open from February 21 to March 06.
Thanks so much for any thoughts you can share.
