I’m writing to request your help – if you haven’t done so already – with filling out wave 3 of ACL’s and NCOA’s unwinding survey.
I’m happy to announce that the wave 3
survey will remain open until
5 PM EST on Thursday 12-21.
I’d recommend filling it out now just in case you forget to next week.
This week, NCOA heard from some SHIPs about the prevalence of unwinding topics during the open enrollment period for the forthcoming year. This survey is a great opportunity to share your experiences
while they’re still fresh on the mind. In return, we will continue to create TA that meets your needs.

Hello, everyone,
I am reaching out on behalf of NCOA and ACL to request your help with the third wave of the unwinding survey. We appreciate the time that so many of you have taken to fill out the survey in the previous cycles in July and September. It's
possible that many of you are hearing about the impacts of the unwinding during the open enrollment period, so we feel your help with cycles three and four (February 2024) will be especially helpful for ACL and NCOA as we continue to design technical assistance
that meets the needs of the MIPPA network.
The
unwinding survey will be open from December 5 to December 19.
This cycle, ACL and NCOA will ask three new questions to better understand the impact of the unwinding on the Medicare population:

The total # of calls per week received related to Unwinding
-
The likeliness that some beneficiaries are missing opportunities to enroll in Medicare, Medicare Savings Programs, or Part D Extra Help due to termination
-
The likeliness that people losing Medicaid may be paying out of pocket as a result of the unwinding when they shouldn’t have to
