The Federal government has just released the 2023 Federal Poverty Guidelines at:
https://aspe.hhs.gov/topics/poverty-economic-mobility/poverty-guidelines
The 100% FPL guideline for a single person in the 48 states and District of Columbia is an annual income of $14,580 ($18,210 in Alaska, $16,770 in Hawaii).
For a married couple, this guideline is $19,720 ($24,640 in Alaska, $22,680 in Hawaii).
See this earlier memo from CMS (https://www.cms.gov/files/document/lis-memo.pdf) for the new LIS resource levels (which also apply to Medicare
Savings Programs if your state chooses to follow the Federal guidelines).
NCOA will be updating our fact sheets and BenefitsCheckUp in the coming weeks to reflect the new figures.
