Join MHP Salud, Corporation for Supportive Housing, and the Alzheimer’s Association San Antonio and South Texas Chapter to better understand the differences between “Normal” aging, dementia and mental health concerns among older Hispanic adults. This 90-minute interactive webinar will provide case presentations as examples and space for discussion among participants through break out rooms. Participants will leave with concrete examples of best practices and resources that can help them in the field. Click here to register!

  1. Participants will be able to identify 5 warning signs of dementia.
  2. Participants will be able to understand mental health challenges that older Hispanic adults face.
  3. Participants will be able to describe the role of CHWs/Peers in addressing dementia and mental health concerns.
  4. Participants will be able to implement best practices for assisting clients who are experiencing cognitive decline and/or mental health needs.
