Friends—
In May & June of each year, the Social Security Administration mails letters to individuals it believes may be eligible for Medicare Savings Programs and/or Part D Extra Help based on their SS benefit
amount.
Thanks to public data files, we are able to create and update a data visualization tool that maps where these letters are sent. This year, we’ve not only updated the tool with 2022 information, we’ve
also expanded ways to view the data: you can now look at maps showing letters at the state, county, and zip code level, as well as get all of this information in a table format:

Please feel free to be in touch if you would like more info about how to use this information, or seek assistance in downloading the data.
