Cindy—
You raise a good point, and this is something we (and your peers) have alerted CMS to, that their communications re: MSPs that use the Federal eligibility guidelines aren’t useful in those states that have raised the income thresholds and/or raised or eliminated asset tests.
CMS is fine with each state altering the message to reflect your state’s MSP rules. This was the communique we received from one of the CMS regional reps talking about a similar issue in Indiana:
On May 10, CMS is going to Tweet (@MedicareGov, with a blue check) and share on Facebook (Medicare, with a blue check) the messages below. You can re-Tweet and share the message from your own social media accounts. You may also want to add that the income limits to qualify for the MSPs is higher in Indiana than in most other states.

Hi Brandy,
These are great and I'd like to use them but my CMS contact in Boston, Jessica Sheeran, says they are not editable so I can't use MA. figures. Other states were interested in an editable version as well.
When I did see the MSP info come up on FB, I commented with MA numbers as a workaround. Hopefully, this is acceptable.

Good morning,
The Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) has released a toolkit of sample social media posts and images that you can use when promoting the Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs). Find them at: https://www.cms.gov/files/document/medicare-savings-programs-partner-toolkit.pdf
