In case you missed it, the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced yesterday that the federal income tax filing due date for individuals for the 2020 tax year will be automatically extended from April 15, 2021 to May 17, 2021. 

In addition, you can help your clients with finding out the status of their 2021 economic impact payments at: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment.

As a reminder, these payments do not count as income/resources for public benefits.
