Hello.

 

The SHIPs in NC, CT, WY, RI, and IL reported the lack of a beneficiary’s current coverage showing in MPF this morning at the top of the page. ACL forwarded the reports to CMS. We will share more detail as it is available.

 

If you experience this, remember options to verify current plan enrollment include at minimum:

1.       calling 1-800-Medicare or the SHIP dedicated Unique ID line,

2.       view in MARx (if available),

3.       or asking the beneficiary to provide details from their current insurance card to match plan numbers.

 

Once the plan numbers are available, then select the plan as one among three for comparison.
