Hello Everyone,

 

We received an updated form CMS today on the issues you are seeing with some of the plans on the MPF.  Please share with your teams. 

 

N/A Showing on Plan Card - If you see “N/A” on a plan card in the Medicare Plan Finder instead of pricing information it means that the plan has an error with their drug pricing data and Medicare has temporarily removed the information. This is not a problem with the Plan Finder but is an issue with the data that the plan sent over to CMS. The plan is working to correct the information.

 

In this situation you can still enroll a beneficiary in the plan if the beneficiary chooses to do so.  However, you may want to wait until the drug pricing data has been corrected and displays in the Medicare Plan Finder again.

 

Pharmacy Network Issues - We have an update on the Pharmacy Network issue that the Cigna-Healthspring and Express Scripts plans are working through.  This requires another data fix from the plans.  The data fixes are underway and you may expect updates to be released on 10/26. (Note from Rebecca – I sent an email on Friday quoting a fix of 10/19 that I had received from a plan.  As you can see from this email that date was not correct.  I apologize for the confusion.)

 

CMS is also aware of the LIS issue some of you have identified.  They are working through that issue now and will provide an update as soon as possible.

 

Please continue to work with 1-800-Medicare on any other issues that arise.  We’ll continue to send updates as soon as we have them.
