As you know, as of March 17, 2020 we closed all local Social Security offices to the public for in-person service due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We understand that due to current circumstances, beneficiaries calling our 1-800N may be experiencing longer than usual waiting times. We are encouraging beneficiaries to try our online services or to call their local office first. For additional about how to get help from Social Security including new service options please visit our COVID-19 webpage.

 

We encourage you to subscribe to our COVID-19 webpage to receive alert when the page is updated or changed. I’m available via email at xxxxxx@ssa.gov to help answer questions.
