See announcement from SSA Commissioner Saul regarding the economic impact payments. Specifically, it responds to concerns we have received regarding how these checks for SSI will be treated. We are waiting for guidance from CMS regarding
Medicaid and expect something shortly.
. “Please note that we will not consider economic impact payments as income for SSI recipients, and the payments are excluded from resources
for 12 months.”
