The POMS have not been updated and I have been in communication with SSA several times this week.
I am waiting for a return message on whether the database has been changed or if neither it or the POMS is updated.
We have posted our 2020 LIS chart and the updated MSP will be posted next week.

Caution. This email is EXTERNAL.
Hi Leslie:
Are the national guidelines for MSP being published? I just checked POMS and it doesn’t appear to have been updated. The rounding up and down of the FPL are sometimes different than what our state uses.
Thanks,
Patty

Subject: MIPPA Listserv: FW: a few updates on LIS and SNAP
Hello All,
It has been brought to our attention that SSA has not updated its POMS with the 2020 federal poverty levels. We have contacted SSA and the matter has been referred to the Office of Policy. We will let you know
when the POMS are updated. This may be important to those of you assisting clients who have incomes hovering around the new federal income levels.
In addition, we were informed by a grantee that the Food and Nutrition SNAP Calculator is no longer on the SNAP webpage. We reached out to FNS and were informed that the calculator could no longer be supported
for technical issues. It requires an upgrade and is on their list to develop a new calculator. In the interim, FNS identified state-specific tools that are available on-line and have provided links from the FNS SNAP page.
Best,
Leslie
