Subject: STARS- Search Functionality Multi-Select Changes
This message originated from outside your organization.
Hello everyone,
As of 07/03/19, the Standard and Advanced Search functionality on STARS will be temporarily unavailable. Many of you have experienced latency and timing out issues while trying to utilize the advanced search
functionality in the system.
ACL along with BAH is working on a long term solution that will resolve this issue. While a resolution is currently being developed ACL has directed BAH to assist the network in generating these reports/advance
searches. Please send all of your requests to xxxxxx@bah.com. Please ensure you include your ACL Project Officer on all of your submitted request to BAH.
ACL has attached an e-mail that will assist users in requesting these reports/advance searches.
Below we have included screenshots to illustrate what these error reports look like.
Temporary removal of the ability to include multi-select options within Search
The below multi-selects are no longer listed as Search Criteria or return Columns in Standard and Advanced Search

Multi-Select Options Removed From Search |

Running Saved and Shared Searches including these multi-select fields will result in an error message similar to the screenshot below.
All Searches containing the aforementioned multi-select options will operate as intended once the ability to search the multi-select fields is returned.
I apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused you but, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
Phil Mckoy
