Does anyone know what color the letters are this year? I usually just get "Well i got a blue/yellow/orange letter in the mail and I don't understand what it says. :) It's always good to know what color they're using. Ha! Thank you!

Reply to listAs in previous years, the Social Security Administration (SSA) has begun its annual mailing of letters to Medicare beneficiaries that, based on their Social Security benefit, may be eligible for but missing out on the Part D Low Income Subsidy (LIS) and Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs).
SSA once again has shared the zip code data with NCOA regarding where the letters are being sent, which we have used to update our visualization tool/table. Counselors can use this to target outreach to areas with potentially high numbers of people who may be eligible but not enrolled in these benefits.

As a reminder, because SSA does not have access to IRS data, some letters may be sent to folks who, because of additional income or asset levels, are not eligible for these benefits.
