Hello,

When Technical Frontier provided our quarterly reports on our progress for the PMs and since PM4 included a rural component, they indicated which counties where rural.  Can we not just continue to use those designated by TF as rural because I believe they kept the same “formula” for rural when we had the previous PMs and they were based on Metro, micro, etc.

Thank you!

And to add another note in follow-up from yesterday’s MIPPA performance measures webinar, Maggie shared with me the data source for the rural definition - https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data_access/urban_rural.htm

In case you missed today’s webinar on MIPPA performance measures, we have posted a recording at http://cc.readytalk.com/play?id=d3jvkl and I am attaching the PDF of the slides here.

As noted in the webinar, these measures will apply beginning with the next grant year cycle later this fall. ACL, NCOA (as the MIPPA Resource Center) and our friends at the SHIP TA Center are on hand to provide technical assistance around this. Stay tuned for more information, including around MIPPA reports & STARS.
