Cindy,
So glad the to hear that the MSP coverage and eligibility chart is proving helpful As you mentioned, the majority of states like MA, follow federal guidance and utilize the
standard $20 income disregard. We will keep our fingers crossed that the positive momentum in MA happens and then sweeps the country.

Hello,
This is a fascinating look at the states’ plans which I hadn’t seen before. Mass. has a $20 income disregard which may not be worth
noting, though it is very important to consumers, and positive changes are in the works for January 1.
Thank you for the information,

In case you missed yesterday’s Benefits Alert newsletter, we have just published the 2019 eligibility chart for MSPs—both Federal guidelines and the state by state criteria. See the attached document or download at:
https://www.ncoa.org/wp-content/uploads/medicare-savings-programs-coverage-and-eligibility.pdf.
As usual, this chart is only as accurate as the information we can get from the field, so if you spot any inaccuracies or know of any changes occurring in your state, please drop me a line and I can update it.
