Thank you for providing this update. Is it okay to publish these numbers on our website now , or should we wait for the Federal Register?

Reply to listHello All,
Our NCOA sleuth, Brandy Bauer, discovered that the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) updated the federal poverty guidelines numbers on January 11, 2019 and are effective on January 11, 2019. It has not been published in the Federal Register yet because of the government shutdown. Here is the link for those of you who use this information for screening for benefits and other programs. Please note that neither SSA or CMS have updated information on their webpages yet with this information and to our knowledge, the Informational Bulletin to the states has not been sent. Our Extra Help chart will be posted shortly.
