Subject: RE: BEC Listserv: Seeking Female Veterans for a panel presentation at the 2019 National Conference
Hi Kiron,
Wonderful! Please tell me more about them. What age range are they in? What branch of service and what did they do? Or are some of them still active duty? Right now I am in the information gathering stage.
The approach we want to take is for there to be a panel of five female Vets who can speak to their experience in the service, as women, also the impact their time in the service had on them. More specifically, how their experience as a veteran impacts their
outlook on aging? And the one thing they wish they knew before leaving the service and re-entering civilian life?

Hi Randy,
Is there any other criteria you are looking for? I have a few female Veterans in our program and the organization that could be considered.

Greetings BECs,
As we continue to brainstorm session ideas for the 2019 National conference, we are considering an all-female Veterans panel to speak on individual experiences serving in the armed forces and the impact that has had on their lives, from a female perspective. If you have served or know of anyone who has and would be interested in presenting, please let me know! We are considering up to 5 people for this panel. In a perfect world, they would comprise the 5 branches of the armed services: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Nevertheless, we are looking for potential panelists. 😊
Thank you in Advance,
~Randy
