I’m sure there are quite a few BECs out there who make their own checklists that they can share with Derek & Felton Institute.

 

Here are two we have in our resource library:

2.       And here’s a checklist developed in Tennessee for completing a SNAP application: https://www.ncoa.org/resources/sample-document-checklist-for-snap-application/ - I like the way they laid this one out and would love to see if others are using something similar for the other benefits programs.

Hello NCOA BEC Partners,

 

Does anyone have a pointers, literature pieces, or strategies for a checklists that you use for screening an application in “real-time”? What items are needed to expedite a Benefits Check-up?

 

The issue we are trying to avoid is “lag-time” with the application process when we are doing “Benefits check-ups” in the field. So, we welcome any ideas, flyers, or tools you have developed to address this issue.
