We have some important announcements to share. Please be sure to read through this entire email so that you don't miss out on relevant updates:
1. NCOA's
Age + Action Conference is just one week
away! There will be a BEC intensive workshop on Monday, May 6th from 9 AM - 12:00 PM.
During a portion of this session, you will get a chance to meet with the other BECs in your region as well as with your NCOA Point of Contact. This will be our biggest conference yet, and we are excited to connect and learn alongside many of you.
2. We are making some changes to the Objectives section of the monthly data report in Wizehive.
As of today, you do not need to continue reporting on the measures in your Objectives section.
We will provide more information about this change in the coming months, but for now, please note that you are not responsible for tracking individual objectives. There are currently no changes to other sections of the report, so please continue reporting
in those areas as you normally would. If you have any questions about the change to the Objectives section, please reach out to your NCOA Point of Contact.
3. Some of you have been unable to view recorded webinars in
NCOA Connect. We believe this issue is now resolved, so you should now be able to view all of the recorded orientation sessions and monthly TA calls. Note that in order to view live or recorded webinars, you need to register for the webinar in NCOA Connect.
If you run into any issues accessing these recordings, please let us know.
4. We are excited to share a new resource - the BEC Fact Sheet!
This fact sheet (PDF attached) provides an overview of what Benefits Enrollment Centers are, where our BEC network currently serves, and the average Value of Benefits for each of the 5 core benefits. Please feel free to share this resource and incorporate
it into your outreach materials.
